Recently, an investor call took place, and in that take-two interactive the parent company behind Rockstar Games said everything is going alright and the game will be released in the second half of next year.
However, in this case, the bad news is that GTA 6 is not going to be released on the PC during the first release date.
Previously people might have assumed that the game would be delayed and it would be this game after 2025 this news follows on from the recent SAG-AFTRA strike.
Some fans theorized that during this Strike GTA 6 could be delayed. however, during the investor's call, we got positive signs about the release date of GTA 6.
As for now that confirms that the PC version of GTA VI still isn't on the way, The investor's call only confirmed that there is a release date for the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X versions are just confirmed.
The GTA 6 PC version came out a year after the console versions where Red Dead Redemption 2 was also released 1 year of the console release date. Even the original Red Dead Redemption doesn't even have an official PC version yet and potentially never will.
That doesn't mean the GTA 6 PC version won't be coming that will be coming after the release date of the console versions.
